OBJECTIVES TO ATTEND THE EVENT / ACTIVITY:-
To provide basic knowledge of research methodology to P.G. Scholars and teaching staff of our institute as well as other institutes.

EVENT / ACTIVITY REPORT:-
We yearly 2 times organizes; Basic Workshop in Research Methodology. The workshop has been approved by MUHS & IMETTT, Pune. (Institute of Medical Education Technology & Teachers Training, Pune). For 3 days Workshop Syllabus and Approved faculty List from all over Maharashtra is provided to College by MUHS.The total number of participants enrolled for Basic Workshop in Research Methodology as delegates were 38 in number including P.G. scholars and P.G Teachers

  • Registration was done with the registration amount mentioned by IMETTT, Nashik for all the delegates (Teachers / PG scholars) and information was collected by them to fulfill the Database of their information on Registration form.
  • Total 38 participants were registered including PG scholars & Teachers.
  • Programme of 18 hours as per MUHS curriculum to conduct Basic Workshop on Research Methodology was fulfilled over 3 full days from 13th to 15th Feb 2020.

forensic Science Laboratory visit

Title- of Event/Activity:- forensic Science Laboratory visit of Agadtantra Department
Place of visit- Regional Forensic Science Laboratory Kolhapur.

Aim of visit
To give knowledge of FSL sections, its working and poison detection or exhibits analytical techniques used there.

Conclusion:-Students get detailed knowledge of role of Forensic Lab in various medico-legal  cases like poisoning, sexual offenses, murder, dowry deaths, road accidents, petroleum products adulteration etc. Role of D.N.A Fingerprinting in identification of living and dead persons, paternity- maternity disputes, bomb blast victims, mass disasters etc . Role of  prohibition and excise division in Drink and drive cases. Students also get practical knowledge of methods and techniques and instruments like gas chromatography, Thin layer chromatography, spectrophotometer, electrophoresis etc and their role in forensic medicine.

Conclusion /output– Students get detail knowledge of rapid sand filter and its mechanism .Role of water purification in community health and its importance.

DRAVYAGUNA & RASASHASTRA DEPARTMENT
Educational Tours:

  Title of activity – Educational  tour.
Destinations :- Kannur, Kottakkal, Guruwayur, Munnar, Tekkady, Kanyakumari, Trivendram, Aleppi.
Date –    06/01/2020 to 15/01/2020 = Total 10 days
Aim- To enhance classroom learning by making real world connection.
Objectives –To get knowledge of  pharmacognoasy by  field Visits.
To develop approach of students towards  Ayurvedic
pharmaceutics & Herbal Medicines.
To develop personal & academic  networking through academic tour.

Conclusion /out put –In this tour Students got practical knowledge about  identification of  various drugs and various pharmaceutical procedures. This experience enhance students to understand the world, to improve networking and personal development.

 RASASHASTRA AND BHAISHAJ KALPANA DEPT. VISIT TO PHARMACY

Place of visit- Visit of Rasashastra department to S.G. Phytopharma.Pvt. Ltd. Gokul Shirgao, Kolhapur  416 237 Maharashtra.

Time – 10 .00am to 5.oo pm
Duration  of the activity – From 17/01/2020 to 17/01/2020
Aim – 1 To Study the various Pharmaceutical procedures.
Objectives – 1.  To  observe  various procedures.
2.  Get knowledge about techniques of packing.

Outcome of Event- Students get knowledge  about various procedures like Tamra shodhan, Preparation of Ekangveer rasa, preparation of various bhasms etc. Visit to S.G. Phytopharma Packing unit – Student understood Working of packing machine and  working  of capsule filling machine.

RASASHASTRA & BHAISHAJ KALPANA DEPT –
VISIT TO PHARMACY

Title:- 1. Rasayani Pharmaceuticals – Mahalunge  Balewadi – Pune 2.Rasayani Biological (Laboratory) Balewadi – Pune.
Date of visit – 27|12|2019.
Aim – of Visit –
1. To Study the Pharmaceutical procedures, Standards of Rasayani pharmacy.
2.To study & get knowledge about various analytical studies available in Biological Laboratory.

Outcome of visit – Students able to know about working of G.M.P. Labs., procedure of slandered drug manufacturing, Precautions about drug protocol.

PRAKASH ALUMINI MEET – 2019
(June-2019)

At Prakash Auditorium Hall, Loknete Rajarambapu Patil Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospital, Research Centre and P.G. Institute, Islampur, Sangli, 1st alumni meet of passed out students of L.R.P. Ayurvedic medical college, Islampur, Sangli, “Prakash Alumni Meet “ has been held and accomplished successfully with enthusiasm under the presidency of Hon. Shri Nishikant dada Patil , founder and President of  Prakash Shikshan Mandal, Islampur, District President of Bhartiya Janata Party, Dist: Sangli, and public elected Mayor of Islampur Nagarprishad. More than 100 passed out students of UG and PG courses were present for the alumni meet. Dr. Houserao Patil, President of Prakash Alumni Association, detailed out the aims and objectives of the association to be executed in future. He further appealed the passed out students to gather and register themselves for concrete plans to be run for the sake of students learning at the institute. Meanwhile, the alumni who have contributed outstandingly, in the field of Ayurveda, were felicitated by “Outstanding Alumnus Award.” Further the program has been enriched by valuable speeches of guests of the alumni meet. Programme was preceded by delicious lunch and followed by teacher’s melody musical event in which teachers of the institute performed old melody songs.

Basic Workshop in Research Methodology

In 2019 :

First workshop conducted from 7th to9th March 2019. Out of 36 delegates, 18 is Teaching staff & 18 P.G. Students attended the workshop.

  • Educational Visits of Swasthavritta Department were arranged at Hutathma Milk Dairy,Walwa,Water Purification Center, Industrial  Visit, MIDC Islampur and PHC Nerle

In 2015 – It is conducted from 19 to 21 October 2015. Out of 50 delegates, 11 are Teaching staff & 39 P.G. Students attended the workshop.

In 2016 –   It is conducted from 15 to 17 March 2016. Out of 50 delegates, 9  are Teaching staff &  41 P.G. Students attended the workshop.

In 2017 :–  Two workshops are conducted in this year,

First workshop conducted from 16 to 18 February 2017. Out of 50 delegates, 4 are Teaching staff & 46 P.G. Students attended the workshop.

Second workshop conducted from 02 to 04 March 2017. Out of 50 delegates, 4 are Teaching staff & 46 P.G. Students attended the workshop.

In 2018 :

First workshop conducted from 22 to 24 March 2018. Out of 50 delegates, 1 is Teaching staff & 49 P.G. Students attended the workshop.
